launchpad-macos-arm64 · First launch: right‑click the file → Open, to clear Gatekeeper.

launchpad-macos-intel · First launch: right‑click the file → Open, to clear Gatekeeper.

launchpad-linux · Mark it executable first: chmod +x launchpad-linux

What Launchpad does

Python runtime: Finds a compatible interpreter already on your system, or downloads a self-contained one just for Trinity. Nothing is installed system-wide.
ffmpeg: Fetched automatically for your platform. No separate download or PATH setup.
Updates: Trinity checks for new versions on launch and can update itself in place.
